I think 3 years should be long enough at one school. I don’t know the logistics of it though. If you think your team or local coach would want to play Benjamin and show everyone here a thing or two, then call up Benjamin in the off season and try to get on their weak powderpuff schedule. I’m sure they will be looking for people who will line up against them. That’d be so good to finally show the people that there is no way a “one man show” could beat a top d1 school, but I guarantee not a single top ranked D1 school calls. That’s reality. Not the false narratives that you create thinking Benjamin doesn’t want to play competition.

You’re right, strength of schedule doesn’t mean anything. And no nobody cares (except yall apparently) who has the toughest regular season strength of schedule. Glad to hear you finally say it. This isn’t the old BCS ranking system where champion was chosen based off ranking that factored in strength of schedule. All that matters...the ONLY THING that matters is winner of the state game. That’s why this strength of schedule argument is so foolish and we’re all tired of hearing it. But continue arguing amongst yourselves.

Can you read at all??? I literally said nobody cares that means I don’t either. Just funny to read someone talking about someone being the best team in the state lol, District hasn’t even started yet. The reason I talk about it is because certain teams can beat the school of the blind and it’s a “big win”, other schools completely dismantle a good team and it’s, oh well they must be way down lol. That’s why it’s funny to me.

Yes I can read. I’ve read this site anonymously for 20+ years until yalls obnoxiousness (case in point, your response above) forced me to comment (probably against my better judgement). Y’all are two time defending state champion. Top of the hill. Y’all are unquestionably the team to beat. So...why be so petty and obnoxious? It’s a bad look.

Note to everyone else: one day hopefully your team will win a state championship (maybe two or three!). Remember this crew of posters. Don’t be like them.

Anyone who says a stupid comments like this is irrelevant, it is people like you that make us want to react. If it bothers you so bad then don’t make remarks like this one after someone was hired months ago. What did you want to happen not hire one of the two applicants after the other one backed out to accept a head coaching job?? Seems smart

You guys are finally getting a little taste of what success means. It hasn’t even really started yet though. Just wait until you have won four, five, or six. The hate and the haters keep coming at you non-stop. The made-up crap and lies and the added to lies….
the accusations, and then when the media takes some of it and reports / publishes it as truth, then you really begin to see people as they really are.

It’s ridiculous I’ll be honest and if we say anything back defending our school or our kids then we are the bad guys! It is usually bitter people that come from programs that have been stuck in the mud for years and have had zero success. Jealousy is a bad thing lol. Everyone was crying when we had 42 kids come out for football when we have like 46 total boys in high school. Kids want to be a part of what’s going on, coaches want to have their families in a community like ours. That comes with success and it’s funny to see all the whining about it.
 
The only problem I see with that is that it will push you guys into 11 man play, so does the school allow more transfers or does it pick and choose who they want to go to school there you have more of an option if your d2, you will just bump up to d1

To be honest we don’t get a lot of transfers that apply anyways, we have the same transfers for the most part that have been coming here since elementary. If you listen to some people they say we have a bunch of new ones every year but those people are dumb because we don’t. And those are facts, and it’s behavior based not athletic based, there are a ton from c city that put in that get denied because they have been in trouble elsewhere.

You don’t get bumped according to the number of players you have. You hey bumped according to your enrollment. Some classes have mostly boys and then you will have a class of mostly girls. That’s the way Westbrook has always been. In the 70s when I attended school there we graduated a whole senior class of Boys. The very next year we graduated a total girls class. Yeah we had forty three turnout for football this year and granted few were transfers but the majority are homegrown kids. And they watched the past 4 years of what can be accomplished if they buy into Coach Matlocks system and work hard .

Their total numbers are not that close to being pushed into 11 man from my understanding. They have some boy heavy classes right now but total enrollment is what matters. As just a fan of 6 man I love to see that kind of turn out for a school. Who knows 3-4 years from now they may only have 10-12 boys, just the cycle of small school class makeup. It happens at lots of schools in all honesty.

Yes sir I believe we have around 46-47 total boys in high school and all but 4-5 play football. It’s a really great culture right now because of great coaches.

This number gets much higher and y'all will become a 2A school = 11 man football or no football or playing outlaw 6 man.

Sounds to me that’s some wishful thinking. I do know that we will never go 11 man . The school does not have the capacity to accommodate a influx of enrollment. And with your President’s energy policy we will never see such a enrollment.
