Alignment Predictions

With the cutoff number being official now, I'm curious to see what everyone's predictions are for the district alignment of DI and DII. I know there was a thread awhile back, but I figured a more recent one should be made. The cutoff makes for some TOUGH districts in DI (possibly Region I).

What are your district predictions for both divisions.

I know Jayton, Klondike and sands all moved up to D1. I also know Valley moved down to D2

Rising Star, Sidney, Moran, Strawn, Three Way

Prairie Valley, Gold-Burg, Forestburg, Fannindel

Iredell, Walnut Springs, Cranfills Gap, Morgan, Kopperl

Bynum, Mount Calm, Buckholts, Calvert

Trinidad, Oakwood, Apple Springs, High Island

Pawnee, Runge, Rocksprings, Benavides

Cherokee, Richland Springs, Brookesmith, Rochelle, Lohn

Panther Creek, Olfen, Blackwell, Trent, Loraine

Zephyr, Mullin, and Priddy together makes to much sense so UIL will not put them together.

I look for RS and Zephyr to be put in the same district. Mullin may be there also. I believe that Cherokee will stay with the Eastern teams.
What would make for a real tussle would be if they were to put RS, Cherokee, and Zephyr together!

This is my guess for DII, which is more than likely wrong and ridiculous looking, just like what the UIL probably has planned. Lol

I've only ever attempted to do the region that pertained to me - this was difficult!

You don’t realize how much work goes into realignment until you try to do it yourself lol. But I agree with you. I hate the 6 team districts. And I don’t care for the ones with only 3 either. either way the teams on the outskirts of the state are gonna have to drive a ton of miles.

Strawn is a hard one to place, they are in no man’s land

Has UIL ever put Strawn in the West? I feel like they've been on the East side since atleast 2003 when they beat Fort Davis for state, but in my mind if you are West of 281 you are in West Texas (many will disagree).
