I didn't think either Blackwell or Highland played in 1943...I was always told Higland didn't play until the 50s...and I was always told Blackwell didn't even have a coach for football during WWII

extra newspapers were usually recycled as everything else was to help the war effort...that would be the key reason why many small town papers would be missing issues during that time period...
it is also the reason why some comic books are so rare!
