2015 State Championships

Didn't think John Tarleton Institute of higher learning would know how to handle such a raucous crowd.............RJ or Cowboy might offend one of the coeds.......

Anyone who shows up to a football board - ESPECIALLY a 6-man board - with a screen name like 'banddad' is not worth the effort. He is either a troll, or one of the worst spellers on the internet.

Just sayin'.

Nope, not a troll. And I'm not really sure what you are saying is misspelled.

As for the champ games, I have my reservations in Perryton. I will be dining at the DIxie Dog the night before the games if anyone wants to join me. My personal fave there is the Big Beefy with onion rings and an Oceanwater.

Dang you had to bring up the Oceanwater.......man I miss those things.......good stuff right there.

Topher, another hot spot in close proximity to the game would be the thriving metropolis of Lipscomb. It is nestled down among the cotton wood trees on Wolf Creek.

Did you get in at the Trump International Perryton?

I wanted to be productive after the kids went to bed but I fell asleep last night and didn't get anything accomplished. Hopefully tonight...

I thought the games were being held at the Hornet Dome in Rochelle, AKA center of Texas if not the known universe. We had the Yellow Duck set for catering the concessions and Flats got a deal on surplus tents to put everybody up.
Dang just when I think I have learned how things work they change the rules on me...................

Yep, and my cabin got 2 beds and sleeps 18, 32 if you dont mind doublin up, the outhouse "2 holer" only 200 feet away. Only 1 mile to the Hornet Dome

I got the last room at the W. Had to spring for a suite, but since it's on the top (4th) floor, I'll be able to see Canada from my room.

Lousy Perryton and their zoning by-laws restricting buildings over four storeys (British spelling!) tall.

I say we all meet up at Hico and discuss the plans. I'm flying down in my Sopwith Camel and will be the tall gentleman with the windswept hair saying "eh" after every sentence. I was thinking after the games perhaps we can rent out the Hico Masonic Lodge and bring in a few kegs...

I'm not sure about the lodge, but if you make it to Hico, I'll buy you a six pack.

No big deal, I'm not allowed in the Lodge anyway as I'm Catholic. LOL!!! I'm sure we can finding somewhere. And... really Cowboy? A sixpack of your weak ass water-like American beer? I'll happily take it but I will need 21 more to get a buzz.

Gotta make sure the old Sopwith Camel can get that far... I'm also praying that the Red Baron isn't out that day patrolling the skies otherwise I might have a dogfight before even getting to Hico.

Cowboy, did you book in Perryton or did you manage to snag a room at the Waldorf Darrouzett or the Plaza@Follett?

I got the Presidential Suite at the Plaza.

Damn you! That is an awesome room from what BE has told me. Can I crash on the couch? I'll have to buy the booze outside Lipscomb County but I will bring a ton.

I'll be on TV in a couple of weeks. A sports anchor thinks I know something about sixman. My BS skills must be getting better...

Did you use a pseudonym Like Don Hardin?
Just kiddin friend. Your work has been great.
I think he would be proud of what you've done.

Does that go for me too? I'll buy my own pie, since I can't send Cheer Leaders like Jerry.
