A good Coach needs prayer and people who will lift him up when things get tough...

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand...Isaiah

AMEN I can add no more!

I know KB it says it all.... I love it and it's such a beautiful promise.
I thought you were out the door headed to watch a game... I guess I will go watch grandfalls here in a bit.

Faith...we all have our disappointments and setbacks in life...how we react to those determine our character and later ... our success and failure in life..

And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him...Hebrew dude

Hope ...What we put our hope in makes a big difference...more than most people realize...

And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us. You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die....from Romans...5

A good coach needs a sense of gratitude....for one or several strong people of faith and encouragement in their lives....

Thanksgiving...a time of gratitude for what the Lord has done in our lives..a time of reflection and praise...Thank you for the strong women of faith in my life...for my Mother, for my aunt Florence, for my aunt Marilyn...and for my wife Eileen...
Shout joyfully to the LORD, all the earth.
Serve the LORD with gladness;
Come before Him with joyful singing.
Know that the LORD Himself is God;
It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves;
We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.
Enter His gates with thanksgiving
And His courts with praise.
Give thanks to Him, bless His name.
For the LORD is good;
His lovingkindness is everlasting
And His faithfulness to all generations. Psalm 100

Go out and be a blessing to someone who is lonely, hurting or just doesn't deserve it...grace to you!
