Well well well!
Welcome back six man world! It has been a very busy Summer, and I am excited to get out to some practices and start helping some schools build a winning football program!
There's been a few changes around here so I wanted to make sure and give my opinion on all the updates in the six man world!
First off, it seems that coach Mike Reid has decided to play a couple crowded field fake football games this year! I'm not shocked, as he believes this will help recruit more football players to Gordan! The fact that he is taking all the real six man teams lightly may just be a factor in Gordan failing to three-peat this current season! We will see little Mike!
It's nice to see the new rankings are out for all of the divisions! Although I'm very shocked by where some of the teams have ended up! You can't tell me that Aquilla, coached by a man named Shannon, will somehow be better than Abbott this season! I know Terry C has retired and rode off into the sunset, but please don't forget that the fruit of his looms is still steering the ship! Abbott by 50!
Somehow Westbrook has ended up out of the top 5?! Big Mike better not end up in a room alone with coach Matlock, or we'll need to find a new owner of this site!
My pick to win the division 1 title will either be the Water Valley 11 man squad or the up and coming Borden County milk company with coach Steel! Steel sharpens iron fellas!
Division 2 is a simple game of who wants to lose to Jayton by 100 points at AT&T stadium! Josh Santaman will have those boys rolling like a train and you had better hop off the tracks!
Word on the street is that Fannindel has brought in Daddy Rigdon to get them going, so I'd have to think that those home grown kids that are all absolutely from Fannindel, will be ready to go with that level of coaching! I'd love to see a Daddy Rigdon and Mini Rigdon matchup in the playoff with Three Ways! You know they will be tough!
