Water Valley vs. Veribest

Hmmm... what to say about this one? I understand that Veribest is much improved this year. Anyone going to the game? I've never been to Veribest's field but when I look at it on Bing Maps I don't see visitor bleachers. Anyone know much about the Falcon's field?

Falconfan11, could you tell us if we need to bring chairs or do yall have bleachers for us Wildcat fans! Dont know about you...Backer but I dont think we will be there for long!

Well, probably not but I can tell you that the Falcons are much better than they used to be. Back a few years ago all the Wildcats had to do was throw their helmet out on the field to get a win over Veribest but it's not like that anymore. I'm not going to lie and say I expect a tough, hard-fought, slobbernocker of a game but it's certainly more than just a formality.

I agree.. but i also think the Wildcats will go there to take care of business. I mean WV is looking at another perfect season and I think they will be focused. VERY FOCUSED!!!

I don't mind standing to watch those WILDCATS!! This game could be a better match up than Robert Lee as Veribest has this weeks game film and they'll look for holes in our spread coverage. So prepare well and let's finish the regular season 10-0!

Yes I will be there!! We do have a small set of stands but you can park your vehicle close to the field and sit in your chairs. It's going to be a full evening of football with Jr. High, JV, then Varsity. We are hoping to make it past half time!! LOL Our boys have improved alot and we aleast hope that we can keep up for awhile and not have a total blowout! Hope the Wildcats make it all the way to STATE!!

Yes Thursday... 8th grade, J.V., and Varsity @ VB beginning at 4:00. (so says WV website) www.wvisd.net. Just want to say... Although not playing Thursday... The 7th grade team has had undefeated season with 8 sometimes 9 boys.. Then had player taken out of game with busted leg... They played with 8 boys in the last 2 games. Lots of heart... Just wanted to give a shout to them! Go 'Cats. This seasonis theirs... They've more than earned it!

Just wanted to be sure to point out to those who haven't been to a game at Veribest before, the field that is shown on the map here on sixmanfootball.com (the one just north of the school) is NOT Veribest's actual field. The field they play their games on is 1.87 miles north of the town, in the middle of a bunch of open fields. If you follow N Veribest Rd. north from FM 380, you should be able to find it on the aerial maps. You can see the visitors bleachers on the east side of that field. EDIT: Apparently according to the maps, you're supposed to veer north onto Veribest PARK Rd about a mile north of town...

I'm ready for a trio of games tomorrow in Veribest!! Good luck to the Falcons... but I'll be wearing black tomorrow and supporting all the Wildcats!
