Water Valley vs. Follett

This game should be a good one that's for sure but I think Follett's big game experience pays dividends in the end.

Water Valley 44
Follett 60

Wv really hasn't had too tough of a schedule, but those shut outs are impressive. I'm just saying that lacking size can hurt you pretty bad when you go up against a team that can outmuscle you on the line.

I think this could be a great game with Follett trying to push the tempo and go spread while WV tries to slow down the game and try to eat up the clock. If Follett can get a couple stops then they'll be in good shape cuz their offense is ridiculously good. Follett by 8. 56-48, and btw the core guys for Follett are the kids York left for WV, creates a good story line as well.

Ok I'll make a prediction..... 58-36. How's that for going farther out the dead mesquite limb?

it would have been more impressive if you had not sanded off the thorns first......

You're just gonna ease that one in there huh? haha

Good Idea............ everybody wins........ kinda like O-care.......... It doesn't cost anybody anything, it's free..... it just magically happens.....

No it wouldn't. There would be some dude in the stands...well, like me, keeping score in their head and telling everyone what the score really should be. It happens every time I'm at a game where they are not keeping score and no one wins. I can't seem to help myself!

I guess I owe all you folks coming to site to talk football or at least get the scoop an apology. I made some people mad and now it's hard to visit any thread without seeing the tirade being thrown.

Back to football. I will take WV by 12 since it's a regular season game. I would go the other way if it happened to be a playoff game. WV still hasn't managed to get over that hurdle. Sure they are 2-3 in playoffs the last 3 years, but something goes wrong in big games like this one during the post season. However, regular season ball has been pretty solid with 36 in a row. Sure hope they can make it 37.

Good Luck Wildcats!

I'm excited about this game. The way you describe the Follett offense makes it even better. You could be describing the WV offense the same way. I sure wouldn't be looking for them to be slow offensively. Defense on the other hand, darn right they will be trying to slow things down. Good luck Wildcats and I hope both teams have a safe injury free game. Both teams have playoffs around the corner.

It's really going to be an exciting game!! If you're anywhere around the Jayton area, you have to come watch these 2 teams play! It's going to be intense and have a playoff feel even though this game will have no bearing on their playoff success. It will be a great measuring stick game for both teams. Both teams will bring their best that's for sure! It's a pretty even across the board but I believe the deciding factor will be what WV will bring to keep Bechthold and Woods in check and not let them run in the open field.

Well one thing is for sure... the drive favors Water Valley a little more than Follett. Mapquest shows about 2.5 hours for WV and 4.3 hours for Follett one way to Jayton. Of course... winning makes the ride home much better!

That is very insightful...... I wonder why they didn't agree on a more neutral sight? Coin flip?
