#2 Water Valley vs #3 Robert Lee

WV also handled WB easy in their scrimmage. Also, RL gave up 46 pts to Sands. Hermleigh handled Sands easily and WV 45’d a Hermleigh by half. Also the Jayton Ira game didn’t finish bexause of the weather lol. But nice try…
Don’t go off scrimmages because Westbrook beat them the first time. Scrimmages have no say so in anything

This has been the one that I have looked forward to all Fall. This should be a great battle between two schools with great athletes and an even better set of young men. These young men are real familiar with each other and have also been looking forward to this game! Good luck to both teams and I bet this isn't the only time these two teams play this season!!!

You are absolutely right. Two great schools, and remarkable young men on both teams.

That doesn't bode well. The NWS is predicting rain Thursday night, Friday, and Friday night with thunderstorms Friday night. At worst, it could mean lightning delays and a very wet, muddy, and sloppy field. But, with the accuracy of the weather predictions, there may not be anything, lol.

Does anyone think this game will be close? I personally don’t see it being close.
Yes, full game! at times looking like WV will get the 45 but Robert Lee will do enough to keep that off the table. Water Valley winning by margin of 20 to 30 at end of regulation. IF IT STAYS DRY! That’s close in 6-man right? Weather could change things drastically as well. Water Valley was up on 2013 STATE Champion Crowell Wildcats in a quarterfinal contest back in 2013 like 32-12 at one point. Very cold November. Dry first half, moisture hit during halftime and different game ensued. Not cold this Friday but I believe Weather can bring out the unexpected so who knows.

Me and my buddy, JCU, had made up our minds we were going to watch this game. The game was supposed to be played in Hermleigh on Friday night but ice on the road made it too dangerous. Then we were going to play in Roby on Saturday but the ice and wind were too much. Finally we kicked off in Rotan on Monday night in miserable conditions. The WV was up by 24 at halftime but Crowell clawed their way back and took the lead late in the fourth quarter. WV got the ball back with under a minute left in the game and worked their way down the field but the game ended on an intercepted pass in the end zone with no time left on the clock. Great game in lousy conditions and a testament to the never-say-die attitude of the Crowell Wildcats. We've been to a number of WV games but this one hurt the worst... long drive back to San Angelo that night.

Not this year though. WV by 35!

Slippery ball slippery field could change things for sure. I'm sure coach Sisco will be practicing with the sprinklers on today :ROFLMAO:. Where in the world has the Wesp been hiding this week? Maybe Oldfolks is on to something regarding him being locked in the basement for extended periods of time. Or maybe he's been working around the clock in Robert Lee assisting with the game plan to beat the Water panthers.
