I don’t know where you coach or how long you’ve been in the business, but I believe it would be a good idea if you got with a few of the successful coaches in the game and discussed conditioning and practices. That’s going to take care of most of your injuries. Not reducing the number of games played. IMHOEverybody has fatigue injuries, I promise we’re conditioned fine. Body’s wear down from the contact more than the running.
I am very aware of why teams are missing games but there has been more than enough holes in schedules to refill.
I’m telling you this would benefit the kids, I am speaking from experience.
