This is a quick review of the game last night. I will post the stats as I get them. After one quarter the score was Town East 7-6, and at halftime it was Town East 13-12. Town East came out and scored first in the third quarter to make it 20-12, then again to make it 26-12. Prairie Lea wouldn't roll over though. They answered with a quick touchdown to make it 26-18 at the end of the third quarter. Both teams came up empty on their first possessions of the fourth quarter until Town East was able to push it into the endzone late in the fourth to put it away. Prairie Lea is no push over, they are a very hard hitting team, and I expect they will challenge for their district title this year. I am very proud of the Town East squad, they were able to play through some injuries and maintain their composure, and take home a hard fought victory.
