The 2019 Texas Six Man Football Independent Bowl Series will hold its 2019 Championship Bowl Games at Gholson, Texas, Saturday, November 9, 2019. This will be the third year in a row at Gholson. The rankings on Sixman.com determines which teams are invited to compete for the State Championship of the Independent Ranks of Texas Six Man Teams.
Prior to this Bowl Series, players and coaches in the Independent ranks did not have the extra incentive that comes with a beginning of the season goal of making it to a State Championship Game. Now Every Play of Every Game Counts ! Your team’s ranking determines if you receive an invitation to the Bowl Games. Now the last regular season game counts as much as the first game of the season! The format is simple in that
Number 1 plays Number 2, etc. The first Independent Six Man State Champion was Morton ISD, last year Dallas UME won the Championship in an exciting game with Claude ISD.
If you are an Independent (or playing an “outlaw” schedule) and want to be included in the Independent ranking, make sure that ALL YOUR SCORES ARE REPORTED TO sixman.com !
