New Braunfels Thunder will be bringing back the independent bowl series in 2024. This will be hosted on 11/16 in San Marcos Tx at CFPO fields. This will consist of the top 10 ranked teams in Independent division consisting of 5 games- #1 vs #2, #3 vs #4, #5 vs #6, #7 vs #8, & #9 vs #10.

The top ten teams will compete in our independent bowl series Saturday November 16 at Calvary Baptist Academy in New Braunfels Texas. Calvary Baptist Academy in New Braunfels Texas has offered their field as the official location of this series and we are very grateful for them doing so. The #1 & #2 seed will compete for the state title and state runner up in our Lone star bowl . The #1 seed will receive a state championship trophy. The #3 & #4 seed will compete for 3rd place in our Alamo bowl. The #5 & #6 seed will compete in our Wrangler bowl. The #7 & #8 teams will compete in our Bluebonnet Bowl. The #9 & #10 teams will compete in our Longhorn Bowl. Each team will receive medals for competing in the bowl series at the end of each game. There will be a $250 team registration fee for this bowl series which will help with covering the cost of hosting this. We are excited to bring this series back to independent programs across Texas. We wish every team the best of success throughout this season!
