Two weeks in...what's the standings looking like? I know D-II Dist. 1 is:

1 - MW Community 2-0 (7-0)
2 - Azle Christian 1-0 (6-1)
3 - Weatherford Christian 1-0 (4-3)
4 - Joshua Christian 0-2 (0-5)
Athens Christian 0-2 (0-5)

Don't know the exact district standings but I know there are some pretty big district games this week.

Azle Vs. Mineral Wells
Glenview Vs. St. Paul

All these teams are undefeated in district.

TCAF Division II District 1

Azle Chr 3 - 0
MW Community 2 - 1
Weatherford Chr 2 - 1
Athens Chr 0 - 3
Joshua Chr 0 - 2

Waiting on score from Athens at Joshua game from this last Friday.
Winner of that game secures Fourth Place and a trip to the playoffs.

Joshua is off this last week. May be playing Decatur but that is Non-District.
Azle Chr will play Athens Chr. Azle has secured First place in the District.
Weatherford Chr travel to MW Community. - These two teams will play for 2nd place in District and the right to host a playoff game.

MW Community and Weatherford Christian invite all who can to come out to Miller Stadium for what looks to be a great game. Game time is 7:30 PM. Their is a Tail Gate Party before the game starting at 5:30 PM with Bar-B-Q. If you want to come to the Tail Gate Party the cost is $12/$7 and includes entry to the game. Or just come to the game for $8/$3.

If Wylie beats High Point next week there would be a 3 way tie for the 4th playoff spot. How do they determine that?

Does anyone know the outcome of the Athens Christian - Joshua Christian game?

Well, nobody reported it on the schedule that we had for last week ... but there are usually two or three games that magically appear each week.

I guess I'll call Joshua tomorrow and find out ...
