Read an article today that there is an issue on these boxes in US-Mexico border towns. Mexico, of course, isn't requiring a change away from analog signals and those border stations (both in Spanish and English, as there are some channels, especially FOX stations, based in Mexico but broadcasting to US border audiences) that don't have to comply with the new regulations.
Sounds like FCC might give the US stations involved (ie, Laredo, El Paso, lower Rio Grande Valley) a 5 year exemption on the rule, but that's not definite yet.
