Playoffs

Watched Amarillo last night. Googled Sandies. Best I could find it is a cookie of some variety. So I thought that I would go to a better source of information, sixmanfootball.com. What is a Sandie?

You got it techster.
The Amarillo Golden Sandstorm, Sandies for short.
They have a lot of grit.

Dirt...sand....that stuff that floats through the air during the spring in West Texas. Its a special kind of fun during track season!

You haven't lived until you've ran at the Loop Track Meet with a west wind blowing 35mph.

Grandfalls and BV track meets could be a bit dusty as well. Although it never bothered me, as I was usually done with chucking the shot and discus by lunchtime and spent the afternoon flirting with all the girls, watching all the runners get hot and sweaty........

I don't know about any "dynasty" with a starting lineup of 4 seniors and a freshman but I DO know those boys played their butts off and earned everything they got.
