Next years top teams

Who will be next years top 5 teams?

Start with Crowell, they only graduate one starter. He is good on both sides of the ball, but they probably won't even miss him on offense.

Add Ira, they will be bringing back argueably the fastest back in Sixman.

WV, Garden City, and May will have some reloading to do. Doesn't mean they won't be in the hunt again. But they will need to prove themselves early on. Blum had a young team with some speed. They will bare watching. Abbott will have a better team next year because of the experience they gained this year.

After the first two it will become a "you pick 'em".

You've got to figure Throckmorton and Richland Springs in the mix too. I don't know about returning starters but they just always seem to be tough.

Richland springs will have one senior, one junior, and eight sophomores I think they will be better and more hungry then ever for a state title.

We kind of touched on this in another thread...DI Crowell, Strawn return almost their whole team...as does a playoff team that some are sleeping on Grady!
DII - Motley Co, RS, Calvert return a lot and had strong playoff runs this year...and the sleeper team my be Paducah and Throckmorton...both dropping down to DII

I LOVE the ABBOTT PANTHERS next year.... and like what Aquilla did this year as well.
I know Abbott basically returns everyone, anyone know how many Aquilla returns?

Don't forget about Calvert, as they'll return pretty much every skill player. I also wouldn't hesitate to put Abbott on this list.

It is really early for this kind of talk...a lot can happen between now and late August...I will say this about Abbott, they made the Semis this year and next year they will be just as good if not better with a lot of talent returning!
