Didn't get to make any games this week....... Ankle swelled up a bunch and commenced to hurtin something fierce........
Today it's behaving itself. Go figure. Sure would like to go watch the Crowell Dynasty take on the throckmorton greyhounds next week. Kinda of a long drive for us old folks. I gotta go to a class reunion the next day. Don't know why, half the people there won't remember coming the next day and the other half may not make it home. I fall in both categories..............

Boys, ( and Mom of course ) I apoligize. I have shirked my duties and have failed to keep Newby in the Top 6. This is unforgivable. I'll try to do a better job of driveling in the future. Used to we could count on Doc to keep things stirred up.

Hey guys, what's cliquing? Parts of our area had over 5" last night and this morning. The small grain guys are lovin it the pecan guys are going to postpone proceedings for a little while and the steer jockeys will find something to worry about...... All in all a great rain that provided some much needed runoff.

Unfortunately a suburb of both Richland springs & Cherokee ....... Not one of my prouder admissions. To my credit I did get to go to lots of cherokee's great games during their runs starting in the late 60's. Then DSW taught in RS FOR 10 years just before their runs really started. I have seen both the agony of defeat & the thrill of victory, to borrow from Jim Mcay.
