At the risk of sounding like an old curmudgeon, what in the wide, wide, world of sports is going on with drivers these days? We just drove out to the "Pearl of the Concho" tonight and I would daresay that 80% of drivers that we met failed to dim their headlights. This really hacks me off.
I guess it's kinda like turn signals; people think they are optional equipment.
In Texas, per 9-1 of the Texas Drivers Handbook, you should lower (dim) your headlights when you are: 1) Within 500 feet of an approaching vehicle. 3) When driving on lighted roads. 4) When driving in fog, heavy rain, sleet, snow, or dust.

if that, is in fact, a direct quote, then the problem lies in the verbiage "should' not as in "must"
There exists the option of not dimming your lights in the event you're dumb a**

There are plenty of those on the roads.
I'm sure Pete will agree with me on this - using a turn signal to change lanes in DFW is a sure fire way to get boxed in.
