I think King got PO'd when his brother was kicked out. I remember a comment about a viscous hit by him a few plays later, and, good as he is he seemed to be playing inspired. They never commented on Colt's ejection other than "they" came out of the pile pulling off helmet's. Bet Daddy's ticked.

WOW!!! Traveled to this game sat through the rain, witnessed total domination by Hermleigh.
I looked online for a newspaper story about this game as I missed the end of it. Snyder has one but you have to be a member and log in. Nothing in Lubbock, Sweetwater, Colorado City or Roby. Does anybody out there at least have the stat's or maybe a link to the Snyder article?

I think the were coming up from what the rugby players call a scrum, taking off their helmet's. Guess Mallory threw the the first punch or said something to the Ref.

I saw the play y'all are talking about. What I saw was the Ira player was blocking and the Hermleigh player beat him on the block. Not sure how the helmet came off for sure but saw the Ira player get up and push the Hermleigh player right in front of the official. I assumed the penalty was gonna be on the Ira player. Or offsetting on both. Shocked a lot of people on both sides when the call was made.
I really think his helmet came off from the block, Colt was ejected, which I thought was crap, but I also don't know the rule. Ira kid jumped up and got in Mallory's face and it was done from there. I was expecting a warning and not immediate ejection, but like I said, I don't know the rule on that.
We better get use to it, gentlemen. That official was possibly a refugee hell bent on cleaning up the manly game of football. Before long they will be doing the soccer coach handout during the post-game handshake. That's where all game participants are handed a participation ribbon...players, cheerers, coaches, officials, chain crew, press box workers and concession stand volunteers. Did I leave anyone out? Oh yes, even bald-headed statisticians with neon colored ski caps.
I have it from a respectable source last summer who was told by a friend's home lab quality control technician who saw Middle Eastern looking refugees arrive in Austin, Texas. As they left the airport they were provided with black and white shirts witnesses described as zebra-like. An hour later it was reported that 6th street echoed with high-pitch tweeting all night long.
