Seriously?
You think think eating eggs is weirder than balls?
Hmmmm...

Smokey has a point. Somewhere, sometime, someone had to gamble that eggs were good to eat and not the product of a very constipated bird.

I guess the same kind of thing could be said
for grasshoppers and monkey brains.
What was that same someone thinking when they ate somethings balls?

Are these things supposed to be cooked in evercleer too?

Nope, jest as an appetizer. In fact, it wuz evercleer that done made it possible fer all them fellers to first try them things. Enuff appetizer and jest bout any ole thing looks good to eat.

Our next culinary discussion will feature "Brains & Eggs"........................

I've had some old timers tell me scrambling beef brain in with your eggs is good eating. I'll take their word for it.

Picked this up off the net

1 lb Pork brains (used to be beef brains, but they are almost impossible to get due to mad cow disease)
1 Egg, beaten
1/2 c Flour
1/2 ts Baking powder
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste

Soak brains in salt water a short time.
Cover with clear water and remove membrane.
Drain; beat in other ingredients with spoon. If too thin, add a small amount of flour; if too thick, add small amount of milk.
Fry on griddle until well done, turning once.
Serve on buns, of course.

Should be served with a side of squirrel burgoo and a bottle of Double Cola. Followed by a fried candy bar for dessert.

I sure hope Pete isn't reading this.
He does have nausea medicine available. I was wondering when he was talking about his super vegamatic, needed calorie intake, fruit sooothies, potato soup (potato fudge),..........
Would a couple of cheese enchiladas with some refried beans run through it be palatable?

If he threw in one of those really hot peppers y'all been talkin' about it ought to even warm it up for him, on second thought he probably shouldn't.

Keep him in your thoughts and prayers. Just hit a ruff spot in the road. Apparently the feeding tube procedure left him a little worse for the wear.

Still kicking - had a bad set of hot flash but over that now. And just for your info, it's not food or smells that get the nausea meter up, I just wake up with it, mostly a bad feeling of unease. With the throat as sore as it is I don't even want to try to puke.

I could be on chemo and not even know it. My daughter can set her watch to me dry heaving every morning.

Maybe you should see a gastroenterologist. My dad sufferd from ulcers for years. Threw up regular, lot's of maalox. Still cheerfull, outgoing. Just went away in his 50's, thankfully.
Could be hope for ya still.

Probably just bile build-up. You need to learn to let your feelings out RJ. Vent every once in in a while. Wait a minute................
