Field length

I done think we done need to make the field a hunnerd yards long. It iz all screwed up when yew play playoff games on 11man fields. Kids done get hit in the fake end zone , the ten to the goal line on every dang score, so let'S go 100 yards.

Might as well. What negative difference would it make? Or...just play all playoffs on one of those fancy 6man turf fields.

Went to Richland Springs / Milford game Friday night - played on 100 yd field so goal lines were the 10 yard line. On Milfords last TD - ball placed at 3 yd line for extra pt. Kick was muffed so holder flip ball to Kicker who ran little back and wide to right and scored the 1 pt for extra pt. Trouble was runner crossed the 10 yd line at corner and ran out of bounds past the pylon - was given the 1 pt. Refs didn't catch it but runner needed to cross the 100 yd goal line.

Seems like some late hits on sideline - little confussing with that extra yardage on the side.
Maybe after exchange of ball - move it up 10 yards and go from there with the goal, end zone, and goal post in right position.

It would be a very long drive from the East to Hermleigh, Blackwell, Trent, Borden County, etc. Most Six-man stadiums wouldn't hold a quarter of the folks.

Doesn't have to be a fake grass fields. There are several good places, May, Gordon come to mind...sure there are a few others out east that are very nice and can hold a good crowd (look part of the beauty of six-man is the crowd lining the field and standing room only)

Me? I think the very best way to do it is just to go to the game and count heads. But then I would have to remember the count which might be hard for me seeing how I can't remember my password half the time. Ha.
