Exercise...by Smokey...

I'd rather walk five miles in the snow for my exercise than go to Wally World. I tell my wife we are misfits when going there because we have no tattoos and we don't wear our pajamas or house shoes.

And your IQ is higher than your shoe size.......

Westtexasflats, I did the same things during bow season. I tracked and tracked and finally found my deer. I drug him about 100 yards till I heard some drums beating. It wasn't drums, it was my heart beat. I said the heck with this and got the pickup to haul him the rest of the way out. That may have been my make-up call about exercising.

OK OK OK You elite boys are on to me. Crown and Tea sure does go down smooth. Sometimes I have another glass. Westexas and Smokey you two are too much the same. When I talk to either of you I feel like your one in the same. (Too much sweet tea).

OK lets see if I can get this right. Mr Dear Smokey you are the one that cooks the best BBQ in Texas and by the way how is your DSW doing after Cateract Surgery. Did she try Bluebirds Pecan Pie Recipe? And Mr Rugged Westexas did you find that deer. You have to be pretty tough getting out and tracking deer in this weather. Am I back on track boys?

One thing you good ole guys can say about me is there's never a boring minute. Someone better talk to me cause I'm gonna fill this page up if you don't. Now we are friends through my good and bads. Get to talking.

Awe theres my sweet Pop. Yes I did lift but I'm not for sure if the weight is right for me. I got out some Corn Cans and did some lifting when this thread started then I found my 2 lb weights and I did those this morning. I have been fast pace walking today. Still too cold for me to get out with arthriis. But I am motivated and trying. Pop you saved this thread a lot of jabber. You've always been a sweetheart.

It's time out time. No answers except my sweet Pops. Today is nearly a beautiful day except my yard is still full of ice. The melted ice is dripping furiously off my roof. But you can see the sun. The sun is saving me from this horrible weekend. If I could save my rants just one more day, the day would be better.

My DSH is on his way back home from Waco. He had made his mind up that he was going to dry back and forth and not because of my sweet tea. So that's an added plus to this day. The downside is that he HAS to stay until Saturday to make up for some bad weather days.

I finally got all my meds straightened out. Last night the drugstore gave me someone elses meds. So all that is worked out and the right meds are being filled. I need my Lovasa (fish pills) prescibed for my heart.

DSW is doing great Mel, thanks for asking. As for exercise I burned a few brush piles, finished putting up a new/old headboard for our bed, chased our old hound around a little and walked a little. first day it was nice enough to be out and about so we enjoyed it........

Smokey I am tickled that your DSW is doing so well. It looks like all the ice is about to be melted. I honestly can't say I want anymore ice for a couple of years. The sunshine is back again Thank the Lord, and that's how I love it.

MsB, i been in Angelo all day just got home. Driving around in the city is exercise, even Angelo.
I no have not found the deer yet, and he is a bruiser

I can imagine the driving in Angelo. I have kin up there. My DSH was asked to go to Angelo to work and he said anywhere else but San Angelo. I know the driving must cause everyone to go nuts. Beach St. In Fort Worth used to be so pleasant to drive on but not anymore. Our street meets Beach St and to get out of here is impossible. We have to go the back way to the lights to get on Beach. That dang deer, he must be fine. If he's a bruiser I wouldn't want to meet him, at all. I've seen what a buck can do when he's just injured. Westexas, I just wanted to write your name so I give kudo's to the right person. I know the boys are busy in BB but on the weekends grab them up and put em to work.
