BU-TCU

within college football, the AD's do the scheduling.
Schedules are beginning to be put in place as far as 2020 and beyond...

Example, I saw in the news a few weeks ago that Notre Dame was playing Texas in 2016.
Also saw where USC was playing Texas in 2017 and 2018.

Even though they are being filled, schedules are still open for 2015....
Besides the larger schools can bout out a small school like Buffalo for 50K and schedule an SEC, Pac12, Big 10 opponent.

So Texas has figured, We'd got to beef up our schedule. Hopefully teams like Baylor follows because they REALLY DIDN'T PLAY ANYONE NON CONFERENCE....
Heck Texas Tech did play Arkansas from the SEC..... TCU played Samford, SMU and a decent Minnesota team.

mainly big 12 is going to do 2 or 3 things in the NEAR FUTURE.....
1. Have a team go undefeated throughout the entire season.
2. Petition the NCAA to have a conference championship game (Petition because they only have 10 teams and you must have 12).
3. Add AT-LEAST 2 more teams to the conference...... teams such as Louisiana Tech, Boise State, Georgia Southern, OR the best idea is go into Conference USA and get RICE, UTEP, UTSA, North Texas, which all are in TEXAS..... AND GO AFTER MARSHALL from Conference USA.

And also,
It would help if Texas and Oklahoma became some-what good again....
A 1 loss OU or 1 loss UT just looks better than a 1 loss baylor or a 1 loss tcu

The TexianDoc be-all-end-all plan for Texas College Football Realignment

1. Pass legislation that if you went to a Texas High School and choose to go out of state, your parents will be charged an amount equal to any financial aid you receive...to be charged DOUBLE for going to the University of Texas at Norman.

2. Give the aggies whatever they ask to get OUT of the SEC and re-align with Texas schools. Money...pick-up trucks...stop telling aggie jokes (or at least explain them better)...whatever

3. Create a college-level entity like the UIL, but without the drunk monkey aspects.

4. Put EVERY football-playing educational institution in the state under the authority of the new UIL.

5. Play for championships of each competitive division.

6. If the NCAA plays nice, they MIGHT be allowed to let their number one play the highest-level champion of Texas for some mythical "World Championship," every year.

Reap the benefits.

Big 12 should have named a champion. I think Tcu is better than Baylor at this time but Baylor did beat them. They should have played again to decide who is the real champion. Big 12 needs to add 2 new teams. I do believe Tcu would beat Alabama. As liberal as our country has become and against Christianity it wouldn't surprise me that Tcu and Baylor were left out cause they are christian schools.

One of the advantages to the 10-school Big 12 is two less mouths to feed. Unlike most of the other Top 5 conferences, the Big 12 doesn't have a TV network (well, okay, NINE of the TEN Big 12 schools don't have a TV network). For example, I've heard that the SEC schools will get almost as much each from their network as ESPN pays one of the members of the Big 12 for their own TV network.

So, unless the Big 12 can put together their own TV network -- which would mean picking up two schools in other areas -- and perhaps BYU and Colorado State could be the best choices, although UCF would be a good choice as well ... but they might need another school, like USF to join them ... and WVU needs a geographical opponent (Cincinnati?) as well ... looks like the Big 12 is going to have to try and get that waiver for a league championship. Does that mean the round-robin schedule goes or do you play #1 vs #2 or break a tie on the final week?

And ol' Cheer, Cheer for ol' Notre Dame is also feeling like they have been, well, taken advantage of in a biblical sense, in this deal too ... what's gonna happen the year they go 11-1?

I wonder if they might not woo Colorado to come back. They are not that close to the Pacific. They do have regional ties with the Iowa's, Kansas's and Oklahoma's. After them what about Houston?

Won't get CU back - the influx of California nuts in the 1990's-2000's has made it to where CO has more in common with the Pacific than their geographical neighbors to the east. LA has been CU's main focus of recruiting since the McCartney era.

Not sure you have a grip on genetics tight enough to be waxing stupid. No - check that - you have a pretty extensive recent history of that sort of waxing. Usually, though, you are confused between insults and sarcasm like a new cook would get confused between a sauce pan and a roasting pan - yet can only produce burnt food.
