I took this from Rule as a first year AD and have used it ever sense.
We do FAMiLY so that everyone knows the lowercase i is the least important part of the family . Our entire sports program uses it from JH -HS Boys and Girls . Our administrators even built it into the teachers handbook.

This is awesome especially when all administration backs you and it trickles down to the teachers. Solid positive reinforcement for the student athlete.
