District 2 D2 somebody that could possibly win the region will be left at home with Paducah, Valley, & MC.

Unfortunately those are 3 solid teams and I agree one will be left home that could compete for region championship. Not many powerhouse teams (it seems to me) will be in D2 this year. RS and Strawn, the 3 you mentioned. D1 looks like a tough go! Which is exciting to me at least

Correct. Half of your schedule being just for district seems like too much. Feel you need at least 6 games of reps before district starts.

I saw Morgan Mill (previously K-8 only) was put into a basketball and volleyball district, but not football. I know they play junior high football currently, so why weren't they put in a district?

They turned in 15 kids. They probably don't have the numbers for football.

They tried to pass a bond for the high school build and it failed, so as I understand it, they are only adding one grade per year, to lessen the financial burden to the school. I'm sure that plays a role, though many of their kids may still transfer after 8th grade.
