San Perlita starting football. First time 6-man in Rio Grande Valley?
That was the first thing that stood out to me. I never heard a peep from anyone about them starting football before this morning.
The whole thing is crazy. I would have thought they would try to level it out and make the regions even. 23 teams in region 2 with 5 of the top 10 in the same region? The other 3 regions only have 18 or 19 teams.

Looks like I got 4 districts correct in division 2, but why in the world is Rocksprings in a district with Balmorhea and Grandfalls-Royalty?
That was my first impression too, but looking at the map I can see why it might've made sense. Rocksprings would've been traveling quite a bit regardless of what district they got placed in.

UIL does not care about making anyone west of I-35 traveling. Prove it year after year in every classification.

Crazy!! i went through a bunch of Scenarios for Westbrook and i have to admit this was not one of them lol. Super tough district and super tough region.
Thought my teams district got lucky with Marfa dropping to d2, but as soon as I heard Ft Hancock was playing UIL ball I knew we’d catch em. 4 hour drive for a district game.
I've got all the teams updated here on the site. Hopefully I didn't get any wrong but, if I did, I'm sure someone will let me know.

Jonesboro and Oglesby will be in the same district. I don’t believe that has happened in awhile. Should be interesting.

Well D1 looks stacked and some of the districts maybe too stacked. Im not talking bad about D2 but im not seeing the same problem. UIL is a different animal when it comes to realignment...
