The thang about rankings that I have concluded is that they make one group of people extremely happy and really p!ss off the rest.............

It'll be tougher than usual. I saw that BC only has 2 offensive and 1 defensive starters returning this year which probably contributes to that ranking. Not saying it's impossible because BC is a program that just reloads. Never rebuilds.

What is the biggest climb or biggest drop that any longtime followers of six man football can remember?

A team in the top 5 or top 10 dropping to a sub .500 season?

A team that was ranking really low climbing to top 5 or top 10 final ranking?

As far as Granger's rankings go...I am pretty sure one of the biggest climbs was 1994 Amherst who ended up winning it all. Not sure about their preseason ranking, but were ranked #14 going into the playoffs and ended up winning it all

Probably not. We went 4-7 last year, no need for us to be in top 10. Hopefully it gives our players more motivation to work hard to go farther in playoffs this year.

But with all the talent! And all the speed!!! This team passes all the eye test that points to a huge season coming up

Certain teams, mostly in the "Deep East" have all the speed, talent, athleticism, but discipline kills them againt stand-up teams.
