Assuming that the percentage of people who voted in the Congressional elections were even lower, which traditionaly is the case, if this administration and recent health law that was passed will be looked upon as the beginning of the end for America like many believe, who will historians looking back blame: the President? Congress? or possibly the American people for not exercising their fundamental right to choose who represents them and who makes the laws in which we live under?
More than likely, a combination of all three if this is to be the demise of America. However should we as the people assume most of the blame for not playing our role which makes a democracy what it is in the first place: a government for the people BY THE PEOPLE.
