Who is the QB in six man football?

Is the QB the first offensive player to control the ball following the snap or the first to touch it?
If deep snapped and an bobbles it and running back picks it up is the running back now the qb and illegal to run?

Its not so much about who the QB is but more about the order or operations. To advance the ball an exchange must take place. An exchange is completed when possession of the football is gained by a receiver of the snap, given up voluntarily or involuntarily by the receiver of the snap, and possession is regained by another player.

Man under center in tight, man receiving the snap from center in shotgun...basically the player who receives the snap is what I would say

In the old O'brien Veer, the guy receiving the snap was called "the man under", the second man in line operated the triple option and was the QB. I would suggest that any triple option would be called the same way. In a spread formation an "upback" receives the snap and pitches it to the SB. If anyone is the QB in that formation it is the SB.
