Whiteface vs Water valley

What a performance by both these teams. Congratulations to both WV and Whiteface for setting a new high water mark for their schools. Bigger congratulations to Whiteface for advancing to the State Championship! Good luck and I will be rooting for the Western representative Whiteface Antelopes.

I’m good listening to the stream. You might be surprised who has the most penalties.
Sometimes you just have to prepare to play in a game like this. We could have said the same in a lot of games but that’s when you dig deeper and dig down.

Sure buddy. There you go again making a backhanded comment towards the school based on some idiots post.
Hope you get the opportunity to actually watch the game.

I never ref’d a game or heard of a chapter ref a game where both coaches/schools were not in agreement.
I have no knowledge of the assignment as to this game, but there are provisions for teams failing to reach an agreement as to the officials. If that should occur, the UIL steps in and assigns a chapter to officiate the game, that chapter being a third one that neither team was fighting for.

I've had to drive 6+ hours for a regular season game before because our chapter was assigned a game due to lack of agreement to use either of the more "local" chapters to that particular contest.

That's a long distance. Was it for a homecoming game? I can tell you Fort Davis is in a place where Midland says is too far. Was told Balmorhea is as far as they go... The EP chapter said we were the furthest distance they cover. It definitely can put schools in a bind in this particular situation. Especially with the shortage of refs and the quality of refereeing. In order to make things easier for them, we played a lot of games on Saturday. I won't ever do that again lol
