Unfortunately, if you work anywhere you are working for the government. Unless you operate on a cash only basis in an underground kinda way............
I forget exactly how many months it takes just to get to the point revenue is going in your pocket and not the IRS.
That's the main reason I retired early.......... I didn't want to actively support the government............
 
Thanks Smokey, I know the IRS takes our working money but it makes me sick that he's working at a government run job. I am thankful that he's working.
 
We rise about 6 or so, drink a couple cups of arbuckle, eat, then ride the pastures and enjoy Gods Creation. I carry a 17 HMR on the buggy and shoot anything that needs shootin. I sit on a hill and watch the black headed buzzards circle, makes me think of the little o for some reason. Then we eat lunch, sit on the porch awhile, then ride pastures some more. I do not like black headed buzzards sam I am.
 
Westexas what a wonderful life except for those black headed buzzards. Usually that's not a good sign when you see them making a circle around your ranch. It means they are ready for lunch. One good thing about them is they clean the mess up, yuck. When we see one in the road I tell H to go faster and hit it. That durn black headed buzzard always gets away.
 
Thanks OFB... I had wondered if that could happen. On our way to Garden City for a game a bird hit our windshield. It scared me to death. And with their giant black spiders (I know what they are but can't spell them) kept me on edge. I don't know if we were meant to go to that game but I can say it enjoyable. I kept my eyes open for the spiders first the the boys next ect ect ect.
 
Speaking of football how many more days do we have. Cowboy was keeping us updated on FB but I either have missed him or he's dropping the ball. Is everyone buying a t-shirt from him? I've got to get two.
 
Oh Oh Oh I have to tell you a sad story. Our Jack Russell was wanting badly to be a daddy and there's more females than males around, although an he- man male whooped his tail and he kept fighting. I got in the car and brought him home and gave him a bath, which he hates. I knew I had to let him out so he runs out the hole he had dug for his escapes. He did it so many times that my H went and bought a training caller. He put it on him and my JR screamed louder than wanting food or our to use business. He no longer leaves the yard so I guess the training collar worked. Now for Peanut, he keeps running out while company is coming in. I will have to run to the bedroom for his lesson.
 
Ole Beakat those cartoons were depressing. I can't watch the Titanic unless they're finding artifacts and the women's pay sucks. What happened to the women would be paid as much as the men, phooee.

I think the day is almost to May 1 now. That includes ALL governments, not just the feds.

The situation in EVERY company I've ever worked for is that women who can do the job and have as much time in as a man doing the SAME job gets paid equally (and in many cases due to EEOC concerns, more). This "gender gap" is another LIE of the democrats trying to keep the nation balkanized into little groups so they can be controlled easier.
 
Equal pay for equal work, we are not talking about real work here. We are talking about the nice sit on your butt and punch buttons on a computer type wiennie job. In the 70s i was a lineman, women hired on at the same pay as the men according to seniority, they coundnt do 1/50 of the work, to weak standing on hooks. Everyone of them failed and was moved to inside jobs. But that didnt keep them from crying foul. I for one am sick and tired of all this politically correct talk and equal pay crap. obama makes me sick, call me racist if you want, but i hate the white half of the idiot too.
 
Your right Bearkat, we are controlled and I hate it. Where I worked the men made more but they did have heavier jobs to do. That didn't bother me at all. I wouldn't want to step in their shoes. I hope the liberals see what they've done in electing (or I should say in cheating on the election) see what they've done to our country and our lives. The Obamacare's deductible has us paying a whooping 4000.00. My medicines now wipe out two of my husbands checks and that's for the month. That's only my deductible. I'm not sure how much my h pays. This is kind of personal but I am on Medicare Disability. Problems are heart, kidneys, diabetes, back surgeries (3) and have stimulators all over to help me walk and use my hands. As it is now I'm having to put back the med's that are 300.00 a piece. They're generic at that. Dipping into Savings make me furious. Enough of that. All this needs to go on the NICE THREAD, LOL. No if I could make all of this go away I would do it in a heartbeat. I loved working but I worked like a man. A woman's body is meant to work like a man. I loved the people, the work, anywhere I worked. I made employee of the year my first year of working and there were over 400 working for the Corning Company that had been there for years. I worked at the Dillards warehouse as a Coordinator Assistant and lifted heavy boxes to trouble shoot and fix the other womens mistakes. Then in my younger days I babysat and had 2 babies, 3 toddlers and many school kids. In all before the laws changed I had 21 different kids at different times.

So here's my open book on my work history. I really messed myself up. Although the kids were my favorite.

And thank you for the picture of that yucky spider. They are so ugly and gross. The thought of one getting on me gives me the chills. Lets see if I can spell what they are, transulas. nope that's not in my vocabulary, lol
