What Now?

Bearkat, Smokey, Westexas, OFB, Pop, Doc, Cowboy, RainJack, Shane and so many others. You have been so wonderful to me and I enjoy our talks. All of you will never know how much this means to me. I've had so rough months but all of you have made them better. All of you are my favorite Christmas Gifts. I thank God for all of you.

Ole Pearl is wanting me to go hunting with her....................................

Smokey it's time to get your new gun out and get that fox that Pearl's chasing just it case it could have rabies. She's a fantastic dog. I think she's sending you a message running that critter through the yard. Or she's saying see dad. I'm taking care of business. Do you have any chickens?

I told my wife when we married she could have anything she wanted except for a milk cow and chickens...... I despise poultry & don't like milk.......

Ewe I don't like milk either. As a baby my mom fed me goat milk, yuck. Glad I don't remember how it tasted. Now for chickens, if we get out of Ft Worth, I'd like a little chicken house with just a few hens and one fine looking rooster. I love fresh eggs but don't like snakes being in the same place I'm in. Chickens that run loose do make a horrible mess, all over everything..

Is everyone ready for the big day. This year has flown by so fast. I'm sure company is arriving. I hope everyone has the Best Christmas Ever.

The only thing that smells better than the mesquite smoke and meat cooking in the smoker is when you add the smell of hot peanut&cotton seed oil with a turkey frying in it to the mix.

OFB I'm glad the peanut and cotton see oil worked. How much did you have to spend on the oil? Peanut oil is so expensive.

Cotton seed oil was $9/gallon. Peanut oil was $13. That was why I went half and half.

OFB did it taste better than the old average baked turkey? I don''t remember too well but it seems DSH bought 2 peanut oils. Now I'm ready to try your recipe. I bet it was delicious. Great job.

My mom made enchiladas for exchange of having turkey at Thanksgiving. She makes the best enchiladas in Texas. They are so good there's hardly any left with a big family. It's her labor of love.
