Week 11 Schedules and Scores

The schedule shows that Arlington Newman was supposed to play Dallas Inspired Vision last night at 6:30pm. This is a first round TCAF Division I playoff game. Was this game played? Or is the schedule wrong? Does a playoff game not warrant someone taking the 30 seconds to report the score? Or at least letting someone know that the schedule is wrong?

Not trying to get on a soapbox here. But I have seen numerous posts about the private sector of our great sport being treated like step children........ But we can't even get someone to report a score or a schedule correction?

Edited:
Dallas Inspired Vision 33
Arlington Newman 32

Thank you HisTeam for posting the score.

hornkeeper12,

Not sure who you are but know that you have been around this board for a while now. I appreciate your candor and contributions.
However, brother, R-E-L-A-X (John will get that reference). As most of you know, I have put in time, money and expertise into bringing the Sixman game into the spot light we all share today. Granger was there from the beginning when all that was done was a fax sheet sent out. It was great. And we grew from there. There was the times when the Private schools did the same and we started our own web site until social media pretty much made that obsolete. In today's media there are several ways to promote and report game information. As much as we would like to say that sixman revolves around this site, it just is not so. There are several other channels now that we can and do promote our teams.
As an example: TCAF's official game and stat site is MaxPreps.com (I shutter). TCAF members are to have the stats and results by Monday morning.
With all that said, having a Thursday game in the league, it does not have to be reported until Monday. AND as I used to have to do when I was chasing down scores, pick up the phone and call the school. That was what I did to get the IV/NIAA score. It ain't that hard!
So.. have a great season and playoffs and as my Pappy says: "We'll take roll when we get there."

First of all, I don't relax. Ever. The "Keep Calm" T-shirst don't apply to me. But I don't get that excited either. I'm just your typical ADHD, high strung, coffee addict.
Second, I was not making it that big of a deal.
Third, John kinda agreed with me, based on what I read.
Fourth, Just because it doesn't HAVE to be reported until Monday, doesn't mean someone cant come on here and report the simple score. These kids, all of them, deserve to be recognized for their accomplishments as more than an afterthought. And it our job to do that, all of us.
Fifth, there was no sarcasm in my thanks for reporting, it was a genuine thank you.
Sixth, I am Shad Kline, graduate of Gordon TX High School, class of 91. I now live in Ft. Worth, TX. And I work in Springtown. I also have a sixman website and facebook page along with CowboyP. No, I'm not going to promote it on here, that would be unethical. The only reason I mentioned it is because even though I have my own website, I STILL feel like this is the epicenter of the sixman information world. So on that, I disagree with you.
Seventh, its 2014. The age of NOW information. When you start talking about how it used to be done, I hear "blah, blah, blah". We used to ride horses into town too, but that has long since been a thing of the past.
Eight, my next step was to make a phone call, but then you posted the score so I didn't do that. That is actually only helpful on about 5% of the games, as there are not usually people at the school on Saturday mornings to answer.
Ninth, a quote from you. "In today's media there are several ways to promote and report game information." AGREED, lets do THAT!
and finally, 10th - It's not JUST private schools, there are a handful of smaller, not usually successful, public schools that tend to not report their scores either. So I apologize for making it a private school thing, when in fact, it is not.

But really, It's NOT that big of a deal. I know I will find the score eventually, whether on here or by another means.

PS - 99% of ALL media, gets their sixman scores from this site. I won't say how, but we have actually tested that theory, and it is, in fact, a FACT.

On the "thank you" - I took sincerely and the compliment to you was sincere. On the the other "stuff" - nuff said.. Moving on. Maybe someday we can get a Mary's Chkn Fried Steak together.
