Week 1 Pick 'em

Let's get this started a little earlier this week. Here are the match ups. How would you pick 'em?

1. Freddy vs. FEAST- Freddy is picked to 45 them but I think it will be close. Freddy by 10.
2. Brenham vs. Kerrville OLH- My pick as the game of the week. Battle of the two new coaches. OLH by less than 10.
3. Duncanville vs. Fannindel- I don't know much about Fannindel. Should be a good test for Dunc. Dunc by 10.
4. Tyler Street open.
5. Lubbock CTK vs. Benjamin- Benjamin by 12.
6. EP Jesus Chapel- Sorry but Garden City big (45).
7. Brownwood vs. Brookesmith- 'Smith by 20.
8. Alvin vs. CASA- ALS by 10, or 30 if CASA doesn't show up.
9. Seguin vs. Austin Chr. Homeschool- Seguin at home by 10.
10. Town East vs. Winston- Should be another good game. Winston looks good. Is Town East improving? I pick Town East at home by 10.

Sorry. Freddy wins Friday night. Milford is just out of the top 10 in UIL and beat Heritage by 40 last year and you saw what the Eagles did last year ... I was gonna bet you a dinner on it, but it would be like stealin' candy from a baby.

And winston plays town east hard BUT they just aren't that good this year. Town east will run over them. At least they should. just get them fired up coach

you're right... feast definitely did not get destroyed.. way to pull out the win against winston though coach

seguin- it was a dog fight all night long. we got down early 16-6 then we took a lead at half 22-16. the second half was nothing but hard hitting by both sides. Winston scored late in the third quarter. We started the fourth down by one 23-22. We scored early in the fourth to make it 28-23. Winston had the ball and time to score about 8 minutes left. We held them and they eventually would come up short on fourth down. We took over the ball with about 5 minutes left and were able to run out the clock. We had to convert a couple of 4th downs to continue the drive but we were able to do it. It was as hard a fought game as I have ever been apart of. I like it like that though. It builds character in my team if you know what I mean.

I do know what you mean coach. Nothing feels better than a CLOSE win because every young man on that field knows that above all, it was their determination that won that game in the end. Again congrats on the win and i can't wait to see Town East vs. Lifegate.... it should be a good one
