Texas-Oklahoma

Since somebody mentioned ATM and their players in the NFL......name a few that aggies that are impact players!

Dante Hall? Tim Lechler? Wow what a NFL factory!

Dante is the same type of player as Wes Welker, but Welker seems to be involved more in the Pats offense.

I don't even know if Lechler is playing any more? Raiders maybe?

It's a longer list than you think. Here are a few that are currently in the league.

Sam Adams
Dan Campbell
Sammy Davis
Robert Ferguson
Aaron Glenn
Dante Hall
Bethel Johnson IR
Keith Joseph
Terrance Kiel
Gary Kubiak head coach
Shane Lechler
Rex Tucker
Ty Warren
Jason Webster
Billy Yates

Aaron Glenn went to A&M kingsville or corpus christi or something.. he didnt go to A&M

Oh yeah, the A&M campus for the "student"-athletes who did not meet even the minimal requirements for athletes at a D1 campus.

I haven't heard of 3/4 of those guys! I asked how many were impact players. That should narrow down that list to about 3 or 4. I only listed a few of Tech's that really stood out, I could have listed a list that long of players that are playing right now from Tech and it would be just about as long as ATM's. If you want i can.....I got the media guide right here in front of me.

Ok I couldn't resist:

Carlos Francis
Montae Reagor
Zach Thomas
Sammy Morris
Wes Welker
Mike Smith
Daniel Loper
Dylan Gandy
E.J. Whitley
Dwayne Slay
Keyunta Dawson
Aaron Hunt
Ricky Williams
Marcus Coleman
Manuel Ramirez

There were more that got drafted, but these are the ones that are currently playing in the NFL.

Did you watch the Pats game last week? Morris had a very good game. Had he not been ineligible for 3 years in college, I think he would be a household name today.

i don't know if that would have mattered. tech doesn't run the ball enough to get a running to be a household name as a runningback. he is good.

One of the best games I have seen between the two in several years. Texas always seems to let these close ones slip away. That Charles fumble and the tipped ball probably were the deciding factor. But Oklahoma did have some big penalties. Great game. Probably would have missed it if not for Tennessee blowing out my Dawgs'.

He may have transferred but he absoulutely went to A&M. I remember him returning an INT for a touchdown during the first college game I ever attended.

8) what a game. oklahoma came out on top. oklahoma held texas with 29-rushes, for 61 yards total for the game. our defense came too play. it could have been worser, the ref called a texas fumble dead, when he really did fumble it. they showed it on replay, and the announcers said bad call. oklahoma ball deep in texas territory. anyway both teams played a great game. i was sitting on the 30-yard line, it was well worth it. i felt sorrry for the texas players when they off the field too the tunnel, and alot of oklahoma fans where booing them, and saying texas sucks. i was not one of them. colt waved at me, and kept going. i met him in graham,tx. at his dads coaching game, with the graham steers. he is a great kid. i apolgize for the oklahoma fans behavior, texas was doing the same too. anyway we have missouri, and texas am, babck too back home games, i will be there. texas will have too go too iowa state, they should at least score 80-points on them, the cyclones have only 1-win, and 4-losses, so you should have a easy game too play, and a blowout. macky will do his best too run up the score on weaker teams. we all know this in the big-12. go sooners all the way too the big-12 title. ou-johnny.

Speaking of Refs not calling 'it",,Why in the world of Bob Stoops didn't the Ref throw a flag on a late hit by the sooners,Man the ref was standing right beside Colt when he got the snot knocked out of him.Announcers said the player couldn't hear the whistle,He got eye's don't he?

8) well oklahoma and texas won this weekend. missouri is a very good team. they will probaly finish first or second in the north. well texas beat up on iowa state, and now we get them this week in ames. see how many ou, can score before bob stoops pulls the regulars, or first string out. he usually dosen,t let them play long in the 3rd quarter. i notice macky kept his regulars in too run up the score, with 7-minutes in the 4th quarter, thats bad. we ou fans know why he did it just too catch up with us overall points on offense and defense. stoops, would never keep his first string in that long, that shows the sportsmanship between bob, and macky. you longhorns fans know what i mean. texas has baylor this week. ou will win out for the big 12-south. see ya ou-johnny.
