What about Zach Thomas? Montae Reagor? Sammy Morris? Rickey Williams?

Zach Thomas not an impact player? Whatever! He's arguably the best Linebacker in the NFL!

Your question of why don't other teams try this reminds me of being at coaching school in a room with Vance Jones, Mitch Lee, Roddy Maddox and a few others talking about the game.

Basically they said everything has been tried in six-man (in this case football). The things that stick, stick for a reason--they actual work.

Tech's offense doesn't always work. Their record against quality teams is still poor. So at the end of the day, it is just another gimmick.

As for Texas and OU using it, they do to a certain extent, but they are able to balance it.

First off...we were talking offense, and I clearly stated that in my post.

Montae Reagor? Sammy Morris? Rickey Williams? = No impact, or very minimal at the most.

What about Zach Thomas? Again, we were talking offensive talent, right? I may be missing something here. But, I think Zach Thomas was the best LB in the NFL for some time. Not anymore though.

Zach Thomas was never the best LB in the league. Yes, year in and year out he has a lot of tackles, but he's never been the best in the league.

8) 19 bootleg iam here. yep ou didn,t put colorado away when they was up 24-7. give them credit for the win, ou defense stayed on the field most of the time, and wore down. colorado used ball control during the game. they had it nearly 40 minutes too ou 20. so there it is. maybe this will wake up ou. they will be allright, and get ready for ut. i be sitting om the 30-yard line 8-rows up. my ticket cost me 250. yea at least ut look even worser at home, behing there home crowd, and lose by 20, too k-state, that was even worser, don,t you agree. colt is banged up, and can hardly run. the key for ou is put pressure on colt, and watch for the misdirectin handoffs too charles, and the lobe too sweed. bob stoops knows this, and will watch the k-state film. boomer sooner always win or lose. you guys have a nice week, can,t wait till friday night go down too dallas too the fair, and stuff, before the big game saturday. see ya ou-johnny.

I work in downtown Dallas, and you can already see people flowing in here on Friday before the game. This place turns into a mad house for the weekend...Hopefully I can get out of here before it gets too bad today.

Did you watch the Pats game last week? Morris had a very good game. Had he not been ineligible for 3 years in college, I think he would be a household name today.

What does it say about a program when you can maintain a reasonable amount of success over a long period of time without a ton of NFL talent? Look at A&M. They're a veritable NFL factory compared to Tech, but they've done pretty much the same thing in the last 10 years.

The Texas Tech and Texas A&M football programs are complete opposites.

The Aggies are best in the nation at achieving less with more, and the Red Raiders achieve more with less.

I did see that game. I thought about having to eat my words here. Morris may turn into one heck of a RB for someone.
