teams that should move up?

So, there is always post about what 2a teams that should make the move to 6man, but what about 6man teams that should make the move to 11-man? Who are some teams that y'all think that should make the move? Obviously, I am going to say Gordon. They showed that they could easily be a playoff team in 2a division 2.

If I'm not mistaken, Gordon's numbers are closer to them moving down to 1A DII than them moving up to 2A.

Gordon is a small D1. Just like any sixman team, numbers dont win, talent wins and they have enough talent right now to make three contender sixman teams.

I guess I should have been clearer on this post. I'm not talking about school's enrollment, but just what schools would be better suited for 11-man. Who could make the move and have success right away?

I don’t think anyone wants to move up to 11 man. Im not certain what the Gordon coaches reason was for scheduling the two games. But my guess is the option was play 11 man games or play a 6man team that would be over at halftime without breaking a sweat.

That's probably more like it. Three teams they played last year are not on their schedule this year. I'm guessing no other 6 man schools that had openings wanted to play them.

If the numbers or talent aren’t there it’s impossible to consistently compete. In 2017 Gordon won 2 games. Dedication, talent and good fortune flow like water. They enter a town and even if they pool and make a small lake when that water stops flowing in that lake evaporates too. BTW, I’m writing a philosophy book about Sixman football to try to cash in. It was really just a hypothetical question, just wanted to see who y'all think could move to 11-man and have instant success? I mean know Gordon's enrollment is not the largest, but they have had some insane talent these past four years! I mean heck they are like 45 and 1.

Well Cross Plains has been playing up to eleven man with 6 man numbers for several years now. They have tons of speed and talented athletes. It has not been working out very well for them. I honestly think they would have had some monster years in 6 man.
