I thought from the thread title maybe someone was speculating about or commenting on what tie you might wear this year during the state championship broadcasts...

The double goose egg game is still memorable for what it wasn't. It wasn't so much a great defensive showing by both teams as offensive ineptness and ability. Neither team had a real fast or really big brusing back. Or a passing game. How many times can you run the same plays? Up the middle, off tackle, power sweep to the strong side with a guard pulling. This was 11 man. Hurst Tx Jr Hi, 1971.

Guru, if you don't like ties so much, you don't have to wear one. You could just go with a Burnt Orange tie dyed t shirt. Work's for me.
