I haven't been keeping up with this post, so, when is the date that the UIL will be posting what district each team will be in and whether they are division one or two?
The division dividing line number will be released later this month. The district alignment will be in February.

what happens to fruitville? can they play 1 realignment down or do they have to play outlaw?

If Fruitvale chooses to play six man they will have to play an outlaw schedule which negates any post season honors for the kids or chance for the playoffs.

True ... but the bigger problem will be filling those last three or four weeks of the schedule. One idea might be to hope that UIL sets up an "odd-number" team district (like a 5 team district) nearby and arrange to fill the open weeks in that district's schedule.

What Fruitvale probably needs to look at is whether their numbers will be staying over 104.9 over the next several years. If it does, then 11 man has to be considered, if not in 2014, then in 2016.

Campbell ?
Bynum ?
Fort Davis ?
Gold-Burg ?

with fruitville playing outlaw or 11man that will be 136 schools counting tioga, gholson, and medina. Not counting star or benjamin. If the 4 I'm missing stay the same then the split is 55.

That would mean that Mclean, Kress, Paducah, Walnut Springs, Buckholts, Mt. Calm, Fannindel, Chester, High Island, Oakwood all drop.

Those that would move up would be New Home, Westbrook, Robert Lee, Aspermont, Chillicothe, Newcastle, Strawn, Milford. If we could get the last 4 then we can have some fun trying to put them in districts.

For those that missed it on the other topic here were the answers I got when asked if they would be playing 6man:

104 Munday - No
100 Burton - No
100 Perrin-Whitt - No
99 Crosbyton - No
99 D’Hanis - No
98 Wink - Didn't think so
95 Baird - No
93 Runge - No
93 Springlake-Earth - No
93 Leakey - waiting to see
91 Cross Plains - No
91 Burkeville - "If I knew the answer to that question I wouldn't tell"
89 Bronte - did not speak to anyone who would know, but secretary said she didn't think their was talk of it
87 Medina - YES
86 Nueces Canyon - voted on it and No
86 Menard - A strong NO
78 Gorman - Danced around it but No (principal)
72 Rocksprings - No
*71 Roby - The most resounding NO out of all of them

If the 4 I'm missing stay the same then the split is 55.

That's pretty much what I have. 54.5 without Star & Benjamin. That would put us at 68 in each division.

If Benjamin and Star are included, then it stays at 53.5. That would put 70 in D1 and 68 in D2.

Again, this is assuming that Bynum, Campbell, Fort Davis, and Gold-Burg are at or near what they turned in last realignment.
