It's that time of year again where things are getting fired up!!!! I think this district is one that will be shaken up this year. Here are my personal predictions for this year.
1.) Amherst- A lot of talent returning from a great team last year. Expect them to make a run like usual
2.) Lazbuddie- The real sleeper in this district. Coming off a big season for them and only losing one player could mean real success for the Longhorns
3.) Whitharral- Normal 6-man football power that will battle for a playoff spot. Always high expectations from the Panthers
4.) Kress- Talented group. New head coach. Will be interesting to see how the Roo's season plays out
5.) Cotton Center- New head coach and a small group of guys. Hoping these boys will have a good season and grow
Again, just my predictions as a spectator of all 5 of these fantastic teams. Would really like to see this district make a run this year in the playoffs!
