Maybe they will clear off a field in Mingus. The rumor is that there have been a lot of battles between Gordon and Strawn in Mingus in the past.

Mostly jawing at each other as I recall, very few fights. Some confused Strawnites married some very confused Gordonites over the years and changed the dynamics of the rivalry. Most Aggies would not have considered such a thing. Lol

No…he’s not playing his senior yr due to offers to run track next yr at the university level. Who can blame him.
The other back has transfered to Hico and two others transferred to Stephenville. They are not happy with the coach at Iredell. Iredell will be way down this year.

I don’t recall their numbers but there were two other starters from last yr that went to Stephenville (no sure of they are attempting football there). Last name was Sweat.

Yes
Really fast kid not playing to stay healthy and focus on college scholarships in track. I believe he’s received some already.
Other kid went to Hico.

Yeah aquilla is due . Aquilla takes district champs this year . All roads end with the longhorns .

Aquilla will definitely beat abbott this year. They are very good. Abbott, not so much. Aquilla could be even better if the coach could quit playing politics and start the right qb

I have heard theres a guy thats a pretty good evaluator of talent. @TheWesp would find the right QB no matter what!

No, just a fan. The community is definitely scratching their head. But they continue to dominate, so if it ain’t broke don’t fix it I guess. It was originally a disciplinary thing from what I’ve heard. But now it’s over with and a senior who has started as qb since his sophomore year is standing on the sidelines while a very small underclassman plays qb. No big deal if the skill merited it, but based on the blocking and passing, ray charles could see who should start. Regardless, they will 45 everyone until gordon probably, then they will get 45ed.

Gordon only having to cover 30 yards downfield will make it pretty easy on them to shut the cougars down
