By the way, I am experimenting with various methods of persuading feral hogs to vacate our backyard. I got one with a SKS the other night. I'm going to try a .45 with hollow points next. I think the laser sites will be nice...........

I have a friend that uses Gen III night vision goggles along with laser sights mounted on his rifle. It takes a lot if getting used to. Looks like you're aiming with a tight string.

Husband and I are setting up our hog trap this weekend. His camera showed more pigs than deer. Hopefully we will get more deer than pigs. We have a red light also. We first had a great dove harvest this year but I have a feeling mom won't clean a dove because her pretty ofher little white ones. It will be my job.

Various Rochelle staff are packin' this year. Word of warning to idiots....
If your just gonna serve it up on a silver platter, don't get mad when people take full advantage. But I'll be nice this one time. Just once.

Although I think I can guess, I wanna see where you're going with it. Fire away.

Isn't that what your teen age boys are for..........

The Good Lord blessed me with daughters. The teenage one is willing, but as busy as she is with school and athletics, I don't ask her. The little one ain't quite ready to handle power equipment yet.

Give her a chance, she may surprise you.

This mowing talk made me think about my mother. After dad passed away she was determined to maintain her independence and that meant keeping her yard mown. Well she couldn't quite grasp the zero turn concept and she didn't have enough strength to pull the rope on a push mower (she weighs 85 lbs on a good day, only has one lung..... you get the picture) so she decides to go to town and buy one of those reel-type mowers. I thought the neighbors were going to turn us in for elder abuse.

Cowboy, she'd turn the mower on its side to see how it works. I'll let you deal with her mom when she cuts her fingers off doing that.

Smokey, my dad has a self propelled Honda that has an electric starter on it........

Teenage boys? We haven't had one of those available in a long time.................. mowing duties fall to us old men..................

Same here now.

Also, I used to have a 4 teen snow thrower, now I'm considering a 18hp snow blower.....
