National Anthem Protest

My, my, my. Name callers, make believe tough guys, and just plain " Wa, Wa, Wa, I want to be noticed".
I just love the tough guys, the ones who have never looked down the wrong end of a gun. These are The kind of guys that get road rage, flip someone off, and then you read in paper about the guy that got blown away by a Southside gangbanger because he "dissed me".
The Guys that have Never been in the military, law enforcement or any other profession where you encounter extreme danger that is real and personal. As General Patton said, you don't want to die for your county, you want the other guy die for his.
They think that sitting in front a computer screen is real life and they are "Masters of the Universe".
From personal experience, I can tell you it's never cool to see your own blood pumping out.
So what I have said, rather than "threatening" anybody is try to impart some wisdom.
As a detective, a part of my job at times was witnessing autopsies.
I've seen my share of "tough guys on a slab".
In the military, tough guys rarely last, smart guys usually do.
As far as walking up and tapping you on the shoulder, they might say "smile, your on candid camera",
Or " Mr. Smith, this is a subpoena, your wife has filed for divorce, or the ever popular, " Hi, I'm from the Publishers Clearing House and......."

There is not a bigger example of "internet tough guy" than yourself. Your lack of self-awareness is truly amazing and would just be entertaining except you feel the need to prove how tough you are with insults to other coaches/programs and threats, sorry promises, to other posters.

The sad truth to all of this is you are a head football coach. Those poor kids deserve so much better.

It's pretty obvious that some of you never bother to read the entire thread before you pontificate about matters. You just jump on someone's bandwagon.
So here goes with a couple of responses:
KB 12, I have NEVER run down anyone's program. Please find me an example. You can't. Apparently you believe you have the "right" to be judgmental and name call with nothing to back it up. I have however, provided financial support to other peoples programs.
Your other statement, about "threating to sue", is FALSE. I simply cautioned about crossing the line of libel and slander. Crossing that line can get really expensive for everyone. Very emotional issues means big bucks to lawyers.
Truthhurts, this my last mention of you. It is obvious you lack the emotional and mental maturity to be relevant. I think you have a couple of brothers on this site or you just have several cutie names. I see that you filed this one recently.
Coach Fudge, can you really stand up for someone that makes a home-away agreement with you and then cancels AFTER you go play them and then encourages another coach to cancel too. Really?
Also, once again, I didn't threaten anyone, that's an accusation the DRAMA QUEEN made earlier in this thread and everyone jumped on it. Kinda like everyone jumped on" taking a knee".

51Eleven, have you even read the entire thread? You are certainly right however, about the cost of litigation though. Litigation is to be avoided. Having said that, I have provided financial and legal support for a working Christian dad to get custody of his two sons from their abusive mother and her pornographic addicted, alcoholic boyfriend, who by the way, ended up incarcerated.
I have been very Blessed financially after about 30 plus years of hard work and risk taking, and even more Blessed in being able to share what God owns.

Crossing the line of libel and slander on an internet forum... that is a new one. Threatening litigation on here is about as productive as pissing into the wind.

You missed my point. My point was that you constantly run him down and what do you get out of it? Some sort of satisfaction? I have been cancelled on before, everyone that is a HFC has, but get over it. It is a very simple process, don't schedule them again. I couldn't pick Coach Swartz out of a line up, never met the man. Calling you an internet bully or saying that you have keyboard courage would be An insult to those who are/do You are worse and we all see through your ramblings. This thread has gotten way off topic.

Hey coach, When did I ever mention him or his school by name? Looks like you did that. Seems I haven't been around as long as you, so send me your list of teams that cancel when it looks like they might lose, and I won't schedule them. I would appreciate the heads up.
I have seen it said as fact that ONLY private or faith based or homeschool programs cancel. Some are pretty ugly about it. Most have to cancel because they don't have enough kids. Some coaches are known to stack pushovers, or at least the ones they think are pushovers. I learned much later that the coach you mentioned has a history of cancellations, so save me some time next year and give me your list.
So hey everybody, don't ever mention public schools cancel, you might upset the coach here.

Man, some of you dudes are fun!

FCSA - stop posting on here. Nobody wants to hear you baloney excuses and thoughts. You are not welcome here because of your piss poor attitude. I know i am not alone with thinking that your players deserve better than you. You are a horrible, close-minded human being who does not understand how to truly educate young men. Go away. All of us will be better for it.

KB 12 " The sad truth to all of this is you are a head football coach. Those poor kids deserve so much better". I started coaching youth sports 48 years ago. How about you?
Don't worry about my kids, they are fine. 4 years ago their was no football here, and there had never been a football team of any type around here. We moved here at mid term of my son's 8th grade year. When the kids found out that my son had been playing 6 man football at his last Jr. High they said they had been trying to get the school to start it for years. When the parents of those kids found out I had helped finance that program they asked me if I could help here. I went to the school board with those kids and parents and explained 6 man football and its benefits for the kids. I told the school board that if they would start the program I would give them $ 40,000.00 to start it and $ 10,000.00 a year for the first three years to get it up and running. They turned it down. The kids and parents still wanted to play and so we started the Fayette County Sports Association with kids from two small schools and home schooled kids. It was all worth it, when on the first day, one of the kids came up and said "Coach, thanks for doing this. I thought I would go all the way through high school and never get to play football".
This is our third year. We have had a Jr. High and Varsity program for three years. All those games played have memories for those kids that will last a lifetime. These are the only football games they will ever get to play. So don't worry about my kids, they are fine.

Ahh so you started the program and are in complete control, that explains a lot. We are also all starting to see why your program is independent. Can't sacrifice power and control for something as silly as a district, playoffs, and opportunity at state championship and legitimacy for you players and program. Just a hunch here, but maybe coaches aren't cancelling on you because they fear your team, but maybe they cancel because dealing with you isn't worth it...

Actually we are an independent because the families of the kids don't want to get in an extended playoff situation at this time. Maybe later. By the second week of November the kids are off to other things. School Basketball, Select Baseball, deer season, farm and ranch and show animal obligations and a host of other things. As of now, that's the way the parents want it. If and when the school wants to take the program over, they will inherit all of the assets of the program. I am simply the fill in person until that happens. We are trying to show that there is a strong interest in having football here. I will be very happy when and if the school does take the program over.
Most of my cancellations are from smaller programs that have problems with filling rosters from year to year.
The two exceptions to the roster cancellation problem were the two public schools.
So nice try to personally demonize me and criticize the program and the kids, but it didn't work.

BuffaloCountry, in reference to your original post, here's an update.
Coach Mitchem took a stand against the silly protest and has been rewarded
With death threats, among other things. We all should keep him in our Prayers.
It's a very sad time for the USA.

I will definitely keep Coach Mitchem in my prayers. That makes me uneasy and I hope everything in that situation gets figured out for everyone.

I see the leftist ideology has infected even this site. Freedom of speech? Sure we have it, but leftists try to make their protests part of all our lives. I have the right not to participate or have it forced on me, take your victimization somewhere else. There is the same crap going on in another thread about "Milford vs the world", and how we all disrespect their team. I think all this started with those pink socks a few years ago......a cause that should be addressed after school hours and on your own time.

Actually I am independent for your information and yes I do believe in the constitution. Maybe you should give it a read I hear they have a Constitution for dummies edition you might like. Anyways 1st I didn't know that you ran the site and 2nd I didn't know that there was a republican requirement for this site that I have been on since the beginning. Actually I was a member before the site was online when it was just a weekly letter called the "Huntress Report". Yea I think ill stay!

I don't recall referring to any of your posts, need a safe space? You sound like you are a little "triggered".
