Mr. Texas Football Player of the week

Quick question has there ever been a sixman player nominated for player of the week on texasfootball.com? If there hasn't how do you nominate a player or do they just get picked?

As far as I know there has only ever been 1, Harrison Nowak and he won it by a landslide.

They do get input from folks, use to have it on facebook to nominate players but dont know if its done that way now

Karson Bryan from Happy was nominated earlier this year. I agree that there seems to be very little recognition for the six man schools in that list.

If I'm not mistaken, Jutty Vaughan (formerly of Chester HS) was named Texas High School Football Player of the Week last season.
