I actually saw CP say something nice on another thread. He didnt have to, he just slipped up. Wonder who's next. Deep recliner, hot chocolate, popcorn, and a John Wayne movie to you all.

I totally understand your misinterpretation of my innocuous post, but do want to affirm that my consumption of that particular fungi was entirely legal.
You are certainly forgiven for having misunderstood................ Did I mention I could make it to Proctor in 24.33 minutes?

The kind that grow in a cow flop after a rainstorm????? The red ones?
The grease was a side benefit. As to time, I don't think the travel aide was common I'd never heard of one anyway. '67 ford 3/4 ton. Once took a shortcut through the rest area. And it was to downtown Proctor. The "Good Old Days'???? Not really all that good ............51eleven":cx6ntl2l said:smokeyjoe53":cx6ntl2l said:You misunderstand; you see while matriculating at an institute of higher(sic)learning, I used to enjoy going with my fellow attendees to late night eateries (particularly Jake & Dorothy 's) and partaking of copious amounts of omelets which did contain mushrooms as the primary ingredient.

You didn't eat at Jake & Dorothy's without something good and greasy to compliment the eggs.
The time to proctor is decent with a fuzzzzzbuster but are you sure you didn't just go to Handy's on the county line?
You know me oh too well.MelaniB":3dyh29o7 said:I bet Mr Little Doggie could run out and catch these squirrels around here. They eat catfood, dogfood and anything else we throw out. These dogs are so fat they half way chase them then turn around. I'm always hoping a squirrel will nip the dogs on the nose. My little doggie likes to type nice things that I appreciate. He's a very sweet doggie and I bet he likes butterflies and roses. He's just a great guy.
Mr 5111 LOL oh my gosh ya'll did have some home grown mushrooms, the red ones. I can imagine everyone saw chickens, cows, horses and so forth. And Mr5111 have you ever tasted cactus candy apples made into jelly? Boy it's the best.

My favorite is elderberry jelly. My grandmother would make it annually, but since she's been gone for 10 years, I haven't had any.smokeyjoe53":17u1te7x said:Oh I know pear jelly, algerita berry jelly , mustang grape, mesquite bean and probably a few others that slips my feeble mind. The buds in the movie are from a variety of cacti and are still used today in some Native American religious ceremonies. It is known to have a psychedelic affect on people
