It's A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood......

He is lucky to have you doing the broadcasting. I love listening to the broadcasters because sometimes I don't see what's happening. Broadcasters are a major need for football games or any sport period. You have fun tonight. I will be watching Cowboys scores.

Can anyone tell me if the video I posted is working? I pray so. Will you let me know what you think if it is working right? I would surely appreciate it.

dad gummit, I sure was hoping it would work. Thanks Smokey for letting me know. I'm disappointed ya'll couldn't share in the how God makes a fox and and a buck best friends. I tried to see if it would open and it did so I could take it off if it didn't, oh well sometimes that is how things go. Thanks again my friend.

Hornkeeper who do you broadcast for?
I am filling in for the normal broadcaster on microplexnews.com
He has something to do with his real job and can't be there.
Thanks for the heads up. I will try to give a listen.
Better tell those Longhorns to be on their toes, all three of the Trib. guys pick Evant to win.
Gordon at Evant (10-I) Evant, 68-42 Evant, 38-24 Evant, 56-34
Seriously, can you believe that? You know they really take the six-man game to heart.
Here's how it probably went. Lets see Evant is 5-3 and Gordon is 4-4, so Evant should win.
Edit. I tuned in at about 7:10 to see if I was getting the broadcast. Y'all were doing a mike check and getting nothing, but y'all were on the air.
It was kind of entertaining to hear y'all accompanying Jimmy Buffett on Margaritaville.
Edit2.Well looks like the Trib. guys missed it. Gordon 68-22 over at half. Broadcast problems but y'all did good.
Can't blame y'all for being homers. Didn't like the sound of how the Elks were playing. 'Nuff said.
FYI...Elks track and baseball and softball fields are in another location.

Mrs. B, I was able to view the video with the download.
Pretty neat, the buck and the fox show up together at about the 2:22 mark and kind of watch your dad. The fox is spooked first
then the buck when your dad trips the feeder. Thanks for the video.
Hope y'all are over the crud.

Olderelk I am so happy that you got to see it. I wish I had been there to see this happening. That buck and fox are like football, you don't have to cheer for one team. Yes I'm feeling so much better. As soon as this stuff is over with I'm headed for a flu shot. I hope your well with none of these bugs going around. If so Olderelk, stay that way for me.

The video needs to be downloaded first then you can see some of God's wonders. You won;t be sorry, I promise. So exciting to watch this. Good ole country living.

I'm watching the scores and it's almost like I walked right into the stadium. Thank you for the updates Cowboy. It's so exciting. I'm sitting here watching my phone. Awwweee such a sweet blessed day.

Well, that's kinda funny that you could hear us doing the mike check and singing margaritaville. Especially since we didn't nbink we were broadcasting over the air yet. Sorry, but yeah, we are definitely homers. Hopefully we wasn't too bad. And it wasn't so much the late hits that bothered us, boys get excited and go hard. It was the blatant ignoring it by the refs that was annoying.
I see why they are the super sophomores. Some of them youngins are big. And that #3 kid is fast. Good things coming soon for the elks!!!!

You two guys are definitely home town supporters. It's nice to hear your opinions without getting down and dirty about each team. I don't agree with late hits because it's not right. I didn't get the station you were Broadcasting on or I missed it. I bet my money Hornkeeeper that you did just fine. Actually the broadcasting starts at 7:30. Anything before then is sound checks and making sure everything is ready to go. Olderelk your surely a hometown supporter. Which is great. The boys need the support. I think it's great that Hornkeeper took the bull by the horns and got up there and broadcast the game and Olderelk supported his team. I wish the best to both teams. Next year will be a whole different ballgame for all the boys and teams. I may be way off on what you two nice men are talking about but I believe good things are going to come to two great teams.

There's one more game to go. It will tell us where each team stands. Hopefully the games will be played fairly without injuries. Be proud of your boys.

Hornkeeper, y'all did fine, especially with the tech problems for a while.
It would be hard broadcasting not knowing if y'all were being heard or not, and trying to get it fixed. Then there was the blocks of repeated stuff. (loops?)
The chat (blog) was helping me keep up.
Y'all were entertaining and I could identify as a fan.
Funny you got your food just before the game ended, and probably didn't get a chance to enjoy it.
Y'all (the announcers) were trying to get the game over by half, and I would have been too. Some games the "conditions" are right and you just enjoy the game. Others aren't.
Went back to the chat this morning to see what I missed. The wrap up was straight out of "The Waltons". (That is a good thing.)

Yeah, but we have to broadcast like we are live cause even of its not going out, it's being recorded for the podcast.
Tension was too high on the field. Best to finish it early if you can. Plus you don't want to let a team like Evant hang around, they will make you pay for it. And then there is the 90 mile drive. The sooner the better for that.
I would have liked to have seen the chat, it's usually some pretty good stuff, lol.

I'm a big fan of the elks! A lot of that because of Mr olderelk. Also, they came to one of our summer camps. Good boys and their coach that was with em helped out and knew his stuff, sorry dont remember his name. But not the guy that is the head coach now. The smaller guy. I doubt we will be in the same district again, but that's ok. Like i said, the elks may be the team to beat in the very near future!!
