I predict a huge bounce back week for RS.

If Your brother can’t control his attitude when he finally gets to play in the second half then I think Rochelle pulls off the win.

I just found out he was out for the first two quarters. That definitely changes the game entirely. Could get UGLY!
Burkhart out for 3 years.
Braxton out two quarters.
Beam still out with knee problem.
#14 out with a broken collar bone.
What a year of adversity!
Pretty much a sign that somebody(s) needs to humble themselves under the mighty hand of God.
Attitude is good thing when channeled correctly. I always played with an attitude.
It was only against Lometa I couldn’t channel it the correct way.
They had a knack for getting under my skin. Even in Basketball.
Richland will have to wait for Cohen if they are expecting a football championship attached to the Ethridge last name again. He’s got the heart and determination for it. He hit a leg workout after the Cherokee game because he was pissed off.
That was exactly how my teammates were in Jr High.
He’ll have to mature quickly though.
Time to stop being a punk and grow up.
Honor your parents and teachers.
It helps he’s in the RS program now.
He’ll reach his full potential there.
He’s not complacent.
He’ll bring that edge back to RS having not grown up there.
I’ll do better as a big brother with him.
He seems to listen to my wisdom and counsel.
I emphasize humility and Christ with Cohen.
Braxton’s not interested in Jesus yet.
Not cool enough for him I guess. Lol
Oh how the pride of man leads to destruction and failure.
It lead me to sleeping under a bridge.
Then I found the Light.
I just recorded a teaching video about pride v humility to all the RS boys.
Zero feedback.
I can only do so much being in Colorado Springs.
RS not making the playoffs would probably be the best humiliation for those boys.
Who knows though.
Seems like complacency has settled in.
But what do I know?
I can imagine Rochelle smells blood in the water. This may be their year as well.
How embarrassing as an alumni to even say that. Haha
But, in the grander scheme of things, who really cares. The salvation of one’s soul is a billion times more important.
With that being said, I still believe if you are gonna do something, in this case football, do it with excellence.
Give it your all or go away.
I’m not one of these Christian’s who over spiritualizes everything, even though I am a minister. Life is very practical.
Do everything you do as unto the Lord.
