The first organized football that NFL Hall of Famer Don Maynard played was...yap Texas High School Six-Man Football...back in the 1949 season as a freshman at Three Way HS...on the opening kickoff of the season Three Way's Kick Returner broke his leg and was wearing the #13 jersey no one wanted it after that but Maynard decided to take it.
