Did you ever think the schedule was set up for a two year playing agreement before Leakey was ranked in the top 10? Brand new to Sixman last year, not knowing what they would have out, tough to find teams to agree to travel that far to play them. Played many games at neutral site locations. If I remember correctly, they played a top 20 team in Crowell last year. There are tons of factors that go into scheduling for schools like Leakey, Nueces and teams even out far west. Sometimes you have to play what is available.
